This notice explains how StablePath Ltd, the company behind CANSVision, uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us. It also explains our role when organisations use CANSVision to assess children in their care.
StablePath Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17528859), with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. For anything to do with data protection, email privacy@cansvision.com.
This website has no forms, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and it does not set cookies of its own. Like any website, the servers that deliver it (Cloudflare) process technical information such as your IP address so that the page can reach you and the site stays secure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address when the page loads.
If you email us, we use your name, email address and anything you include in your message to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or to take steps towards a contract if you are asking about using CANSVision. We keep business correspondence for up to two years after our last contact, unless it becomes part of a contract, in which case we keep it for as long as the law requires. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing lists.
When an organisation, such as a local authority or a children's home, uses CANSVision, that organisation is the data controller for the information about the children it assesses. StablePath Ltd acts only as its data processor, under a written data processing agreement, and uses that information only to provide the service on the organisation's instructions.
If you want to know what information is held about a child, or to exercise any data protection rights over it, please contact the organisation responsible for the child's care. They will involve us if they need to.
CANSVision runs on Microsoft's cloud platform, with data held in the UK. Microsoft acts as our sub-processor.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Email privacy@cansvision.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
